About The Position
Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking an entry-level IT Helpdesk Technician to support its operations in Sweetwater, Texas. The technician will serve as the primary point of contact for organizational technical needs and provide day-to-day assistance with hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The position includes comprehensive on-the-job training in enterprise IT practices, including Active Directory, virtualization, and security environments. The employer emphasizes problem-solving and communication skills over prior technical experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting PCs, laptops, and office printers.
- Knowledge of IP, DNS, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including patience when assisting others.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Reliability and a high degree of trustworthiness.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
