About The Position

The IT EPIC Ambulatory Analyst will collaborate with IT and Informatics staff to deliver high-quality integrated medical care. This role involves configuring Epic functionality to enhance user efficiency, usability, and patient safety. The analyst will work with Epic and Informatics teams to evaluate, test, and implement Epic updates and upgrades, and provide support for IT systems and staff during new service implementations and expansions at WFM sites. Responsibilities include offering initial guidance and support to trainers and end-users during updates, documenting build to ensure cross-coverage and collaboration, and managing break-fix documentation within a ticket-based work order system. Additionally, the role may involve solving day-to-day system issues, assisting with other ambulatory reporting or informatics tasks, and occasionally providing backup support for non-primary Epic applications. Occasional after-hours work and support may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in IT, Engineering, Math, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate creative, collaborative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with EPIC: Ambulatory preferred; responsibility for other Epic modules/functionality optional; Epic Ambulatory training will be provided if none
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills for interacting with other team members and end users.
  • Frequent end-user interaction anticipated.
  • Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and appropriate liability insurance
