This remote opportunity for an IT EPIC Application Analyst involves implementing, optimizing, and supporting the EPIC EHR system to ensure seamless operation and alignment with clinical workflows. The role requires analyzing requirements, configuring EPIC modules, performing testing, providing training and support, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with clinical staff. Key to success are deep EPIC module expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to healthcare technology. The analyst will also design, build, test, implement, and support IT solutions, manage project assignments of medium to high complexity, document requirements, and maintain existing functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Other in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, application support and implementation and Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry
  • Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies
  • EPIC Certification, within 120 Days

Responsibilities

  • Implement, optimize, and support our EPIC EHR system, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with clinical workflows.
  • Analyze requirements.
  • Configure EPIC modules.
  • Perform testing.
  • Provide training and support.
  • Troubleshoot issues, collaborating with clinical staff.
  • Design, build, test, implement, and support information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
  • Deliver project assignments of medium to high complexity which includes application design, and configuration build.
  • Work closely with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively with customers and peers to implement changes.
  • Support/maintain day-to-day existing functionality/programs/applications.
  • Perform intermediate system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionality/programs/applications, and to analyze/research vendor release notes and documentation; understanding complete end-to-end system integration.
  • Create thorough system design and build documentation.
  • Analyze the functionality of the system and how it fits or not with operations.
  • Troubleshoot basic problems and recommend and take appropriate action as required.
  • Translate high-level business requirements to detailed technical designs/documentation.
  • Collaborate with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership.
  • Meet with department heads and executives on a routine basis to identify and prioritize their needs.
