This position will assist in the building, design, and system upgrades of EPIC. The EPIC Application Analyst will provide support for the system including guidance of users at all COPC practice sites and facilities. The EPIC Application Analyst works closely with EHR (electronic health record) training team, management, physician offices, ancillary offices, and administrative staff to facilitate effective education and training on the EHR application. Full-time/Benefits Eligible Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day, possible weekend hours during upgrades twice a year Westerville, OH ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assist with developing, implementing, and supporting Epic’s Cadence and Prelude modules. Act as a resource for Epic questions and issues as they arise. Develop and maintain configuration and workflow documents for the Epic system. Assist with analysis of data (conversion, analytics, quality, root cause). Perform upgrade review, build and testing. Attend meetings and is accountable for actions items assigned. Interact with management and end users to understand workflow and business processes. Answer, track, and make calls to Central Ohio Primary Care Providers and personnel to provide support within Epic. Develop and maintain configuration decisions and workflow documents. Developing/facilitating a collaborative, positive team environment. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licensures, Certifications & Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred: Minimum of 5 years working within Epic Required: EPIC certification or obtain certification within 1 year of hire Required: Healthcare experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proven understanding of the use and functionality of an EHR system Experience tracking problems and performing follow-up on issues and concerns Strong computer skills, telephone etiquette, customer service Strong Microsoft Suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others Ability to multi-task effectively Strong organizational and time management skills A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative
