About The Position

American Pest is seeking an IT Desk Support Analyst who is eager to learn, ready to jump in wherever needed, and excited to grow their hands-on IT experience in a fast-moving environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants real exposure to day-to-day technology support across an entire organization - from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to helping employees face-to-face throughout the office. If you enjoy being active, solving problems, learning new systems, and being someone people can rely on when they need help, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with Azure, Azure AD, and Office365 administration.
  • Familiarity with Android and Apple phones.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Experience working closely with others in a team-focused environment.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities according to urgency and importance.
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills.
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of IT experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field
  • Prior experience with Mobile Device Manager solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, Networking, Cybersecurity, and PowerShell scripting is ideal (Certifications preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Spend time throughout the office troubleshooting issues.
  • Set up and maintain computers and mobile devices.
  • Help with hardware and software installs.
  • Make sure employees have the tools they need to do their jobs successfully.
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of IT systems and responsibilities, including wireless networks, mobile device management (MDM), system documentation, and technical process improvement.
  • Work closely with the IT team to learn new systems, solve problems, and identify opportunities to make technology work better for the organization overall.
