About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. The technical business analyst will work with IT and the Business to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. This role requires strong project management skills to help the team track dependencies and work with the Delivery Lead to drive them to resolution, schedule tasks, and escalate roadblocks. The ideal candidate serves as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT, playing a key role in the overall management and success of projects through the entire lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
7 years of experience in a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical business analyst role in a project-based agile environment
Experience working on multiple projects at the same time
Experience with Small Business Sales Onboarding or Merchant onboarding projects
Experience working on very large projects
Able to gather requirements, identify use cases, and ensure proper design
Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies with experience in agile tools like Jira
Good time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization
Ability to understand system interaction and map data from source to target application
Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies
Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

Experience working with complex systems, APIs (JSON or SOAP), and data mapping
Experience with order management applications
Able to develop application knowledge by reviewing documentation

Responsibilities

Combine business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
Serve as the facilitator between Business and IT to understand business needs and contribute to project success
Lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, and data mapping
Oversee system analysis, test case design, and implementation planning in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and Architects
Lead other IT project work based on changing project demands
