About The Position

As a Business Analyst I, you’ll assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams in completing customer startup projects and demand requests. The role includes developing and maintaining documentation, configuring systems, testing, identifying and resolving issues, and supporting internal and external customers. The position focuses on learning NFI’s existing tools, resources, and processes and developing broad, generalist knowledge of concepts relevant to the role.

Nice To Haves

BA/BS degree strongly preferred; comparable work experience will be considered.
2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan.
Clearly and concisely document and maintain project artifacts.
Under the direction of a project lead, assist with configuring and creating custom application solutions.
Complete and document unit testing and integration testing activities.
Coordinate and document user acceptance testing activities.
Identify, define, and resolve minor issues during implementation, escalating complex issues to more senior team members.
Use project management methodologies consistent with the common framework.
Become a subject matter expert in at least one area within the department.
Train customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processes.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution, delivery, and communication.
Learn new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughly.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
