About The Position

The IT Applications Intern supports business applications, software systems, and technology solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and user experience. The role includes work with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), and client support services. The intern assists with day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and project-based tasks to enhance IT service delivery.

MTI interns work alongside experienced professionals on business challenges and contribute to the organization. The internship includes structured learning and development, mentorship and coaching, speaker series events, networking opportunities, and a presentation of work to business leaders at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business applications, information systems, and technology concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new software applications and technology platforms quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive business information.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, workflow applications, or business systems.
• Understanding of software testing, system integration, or process improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and configuration of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist with Intune device management, including enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Gain exposure to Entra ID identity and access management tasks.
• Provide client services support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues and responding to user requests.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with IT team members on projects and service improvements.
• Apply OE/Lean practices, including 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, and Standard Work.
