About The Position

The IT Analyst provides technical support to defined end-user groups and helps users solve business problems using available technology, including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The role studies and analyzes system needs and supports system development, process analysis, design, and re-engineering. It also troubleshoots, installs, and updates information technology resources and implements new procedures and techniques.

The position addresses a wide range of difficult engineering and scientific problems, developing imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions consistent with organizational objectives. The analyst contributes to specific programs and projects, works with minimal direction, independently determines approaches to problems, and receives review upon completion. Guidance is provided for unusual or complex issues. Failure to achieve expected results could cause serious project delays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 9–15 years of experience for external candidates.
• Ability to provide imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions to difficult engineering and scientific problems that align with organizational objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and independently determine approaches to problems.
