About The Position

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting the company's technology infrastructure, systems, and applications. The role includes administering IT systems and networks, managing Microsoft 365 and user access, supporting cybersecurity and backup and recovery processes, and maintaining business applications and IT assets. The administrator provides technical support, assists with employee onboarding and training, maintains IT documentation and the company website, and coordinates technology improvements. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Knowledge of network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot VPNs.
Knowledge of multifactor authentication (MFA/2FA).
Knowledge of firewall, switch, and wireless network management.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and endpoint protection.
Knowledge of email security, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Knowledge of data backups and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and software deployment.
Knowledge of hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of remote access and remote support tools.
Knowledge of IT asset and software license management.
Knowledge of cloud services and identity management.
Knowledge of IT documentation and technical support.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
Maintain company networks, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and network connectivity.
Administer user accounts, email systems, licenses, and permissions, and support employee onboarding and offboarding.
Monitor system activity, maintain security controls, investigate potential threats, and protect company data.
Monitor data backups, perform restoration procedures, and support disaster recovery planning.
Maintain and troubleshoot company software, accounting systems, field operations applications, and other business-critical tools.
Track hardware, software licenses, equipment assignments, warranties, and technology replacements.
Provide technical assistance to employees, resolve IT issues, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Set up employee accounts, configure equipment and system access, and provide staff training on company technology and software.
Maintain IT procedures, system documentation, and user guides, and provide employee training as needed.
Maintain company website content, functionality, and routine technical updates.
Coordinate technology upgrades, evaluate new solutions, and recommend improvements to support company operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
