About The Position

The Investment Risk Management Intern will assist the FDAM Investment Risk Management team in building or improving risk-management analytics, reports, and dashboards. The intern may also conduct risk assessments of digital assets, platforms, or products using publicly available information and present findings.

The role involves working with stakeholders to gather requirements, documenting data sources and calculations, and implementing analytics with existing tools, including Python, Snowflake, and SQL. The intern will also validate and test data, collaborate on deployment, and present analytics and research results to stakeholders for feedback.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Some exposure to investment and trading concepts, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.
• Experience working on software coding projects using Python and SQL.
• Exposure to object-oriented programming.
• Comfort working with code repositories such as GitHub for change management and version control.
• Detail-oriented, with good communication and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Responsibilities
