About The Position

Sonoco is seeking Operations interns for its IPP Division in Robesonia, Pennsylvania; Newport, Tennessee; Hartsville, South Carolina; Dalton, Georgia; or City of Industry, California. The internship lasts 12 weeks and is paid monthly. Interns work on hands-on projects alongside industry experts, gain business knowledge across Sonoco’s enterprise, network with business leaders, and participate in activities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates. Housing and an activity stipend are provided, as is relocation assistance in the form of mileage reimbursement and a U-Haul trailer.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program with a concentration in Engineering
• Previous internship experience, preferably in Manufacturing or a functional area
• Proven leadership experience
• Technical aptitude
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
