About The Position

Micro Precision is a precision manufacturing machine shop supporting national defense and homeland security customers for over 40 years. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of freshman and sophomore years in a higher education institution.
Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
Basic understanding of manufacturing constraints/bottlenecks
Basic project management skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
US Citizen

Responsibilities

Assist in the overall manufacturing process including production planning, procurement, job traveler generation, lean manufacturing activities.
Support Program Manager in production planning and job travelers’ generation
Assist in documenting progress of manufacturing projects and report at meetings regularly
Work with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the plant to improve overall process effectiveness
Help improve shop visual management
Performs other duties as assigned
