About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Services & Industrials team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves supporting corporate clients and financial sponsors with advisory and financing services, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate and venture services. The investment banking group provides clients with sector expertise, candid advice, and transaction execution across its core industries. The anticipated starting salary range is $175,000–$225,000 per year. Placement within the range depends on experience, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for annual incentive compensation, with total compensation intended to be competitive with the market. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or MBA.
At least 2 years of investment banking experience at the associate level or closely related experience.
Prior experience involving financial analysis and M&A transaction execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop internal and external relationships.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
Highly motivated, collaborative team player with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
