About The Position

Houlihan Lokey is seeking an Associate for its Industrials Group, based in Los Angeles, to support Aerospace & Defense industry coverage. Associates are integral to the firm’s business activities and help deliver investment banking services and transactions to clients. The role supports all facets of engagements, from client relationship management and transaction execution to business development, while working alongside senior bankers and supervising junior team members.

Requirements

At least three years of professional work experience.
At least two years of investment banking experience.
An undergraduate degree with academic distinction.
Motivation, creativity, and an outgoing approach.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a highly organized manner.
Independent, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Manage client relationships.
Participate in end-to-end transaction execution.
Prepare confidential information memoranda, marketing materials, and presentations.
Analyze historical and projected financial information.
Develop complex financial and valuation models.
Coordinate transaction execution.
Build datarooms and manage due diligence processes.
Participate in developing recommendations to clients alongside senior bankers.
Manage and supervise junior banking team members.
Assist senior bankers with new business development, including preparing pitch books and identifying prospective clients.
