About The Position

Morgan Stanley is seeking Investment Banking Analysts to join its Industrials Group in the New York City office. Analysts will work with regional and international clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts, defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments, and public and private capital markets executions. The role involves working closely with professionals throughout the firm to provide high-quality client advice and contributing to a team where senior professionals encourage creative thinking beyond the numbers.

Requirements

Up to 2 years of experience in investment banking or capital markets.
Bachelor’s degree.
Series licensing or the ability to obtain it.
Exceptionally high motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
Analytical, quantitative, adaptive, self-starting, and results-oriented, with leadership, teamwork, multitasking, and drive.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the industrials industry is preferred but not required.
Interest in developing a career in investment banking.
