About The Position
Houlihan Lokey is hiring an Associate for its Corporate Finance business, aligned with the Industrials Group and based in Los Angeles. The Associate will support Aerospace & Defense industry coverage as part of the global Industrials Group. Associates are integral to the firm's business activities and help deliver investment banking services and transactions to clients. The role supports all facets of investment banking engagements, including managing client relationships, executing transactions from start to finish, analyzing financial information, developing financial and valuation models, coordinating execution, and managing due diligence. Associates also contribute to client recommendations, supervise junior team members, and assist senior bankers with business development.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional working experience.
- At least two years of investment banking experience.
- An undergraduate degree with academic distinction.

Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships.
- Participate in end-to-end transaction execution.
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, marketing materials, and presentations.
- Analyze historical and projected financial information.
- Develop complex financial and valuation models.
- Coordinate transaction execution.
- Build datarooms and manage due diligence processes.
- Participate in developing recommendations to clients alongside senior bankers.
- Manage and supervise junior banking team members.
- Assist senior bankers with new business development, including preparing pitch books and identifying prospective clients.
