About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Services & Industrials team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves supporting corporate clients and financial sponsors with advisory and financing services, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate and venture services. The investment banking group draws on sector and product expertise to provide clients with advice and transaction execution across its core industries. The position is eligible for annual incentive compensation in addition to a competitive total compensation package. The anticipated starting salary range is $175,000 to $225,000 per year, with placement dependent on experience, location, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or MBA.
At least 2 years of investment banking experience at the associate level or closely related experience.
Prior experience involving financial analysis and M&A transaction execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
Highly motivated and able to work as a team player and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis and support M&A transaction execution.
