The position may be in Anchorage or Fairbanks, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate. In this role, you will conduct investigations into allegations of fraud by applicants and recipients of Public Assistance Programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Alaska Temporary Assistance Program, Adult Public Assistance Program, and Medicaid Programs. You will prepare cases for criminal prosecution and Administrative Disqualification Hearings. You will represent the Department in cases presented for Administrative Disqualification Hearings or in criminal proceedings. This position will require phone and in-person contact with witnesses, public assistance recipients, and individuals accused of fraud. This postion may require Travel within the state of Alaska.
