About The Position

The Inventory Team Member ensures inventory is properly received, compliantly labeled, and consistently stocked on the sales floor. The role involves efficient, organized inventory management and supporting the front-of-house retail team. Responsibilities include overseeing stock operations and helping maintain store standards to support store performance and customer satisfaction. The position is based at 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, St. Peters, MO 63376. The work environment can be loud and is fast-paced and energetic, with specialized cannabis product displays and busy rushes. Wait times and long lines are common during peak hours, so staff must be adaptable.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
Must be 21 or older.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Missouri Facility Agent Card.

Nice To Haves

Cannabis industry experience is a plus.
Product knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate the Inventory team, including stock associates and other support staff; provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Oversee inventory receipt, storage, and organization; ensure accurate stock counts, manage replenishment, and coordinate inventory audits.
Manage processing of online and in-store orders, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain clean and organized stockroom and storage areas; implement efficient stock-retrieval processes and manage rotation to reduce obsolescence.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve shipment discrepancies or issues.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including merchandise handling and safety protocols.
Address operational issues, including stock discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and staffing concerns.
Work with the front-of-house team to support sales efforts, manage product displays, and address customer or operational needs affecting store performance.
Improve inventory stock on the sales floor.
Improve the inventory receiving process and timelines.
Improve aging inventory stock and ensure inventory levels are appropriate for the location.
