About The Position

The Inventory Clerk works in the Warehouse and Inventory area and is responsible for implementing and maintaining control procedures as directed. The role maintains pallet, material usage, and label inventory; verifies production reports; provides production support; creates work orders; and tracks product placement. The Clerk communicates with all levels of management and learns product code numbers, row inventory levels, and inventory processes. The position reports directly to a Supervisor or Manager. The listed hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Clerk positions exist across shifts, including weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehousing and/or inventory control.
• Experience with the trucking industry, including dealing with truck drivers.
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge and up-to-date training in a warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the company's overall strategy and direction and make well-informed decisions.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Publisher and Access experience is a plus.
• Existing forklift-driver certification; otherwise, ability to become certified.

Responsibilities
