About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk conducts physical inventories, researches locator problems, and adjusts book inventory with approval from the Inventory Control Supervisor. The clerk is also responsible for assigned production locations and the warehouse service level. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external support areas, including by telephone.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Ability to operate a calculator and other office equipment.
• Detail orientation and above-average math aptitude.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Normal eyesight, natural or corrected.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate fork trucks and other powered mobile equipment as needed, including at heights up to 40 feet, and be certified as an operator.
