Inventory Control Clerk - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk conducts physical inventories, researches locator problems, and adjusts book inventory with approval from the Inventory Control Supervisor. The role is also responsible for assigned production locations and warehouse service level. This is a second-shift, Monday–Friday position from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM in a warehouse environment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control in a warehouse environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external support areas by telephone or otherwise.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Ability to operate a calculator and other office equipment.
• Detail-oriented, with above-average math aptitude.
• Normal eyesight, natural or corrected.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, walking, standing, and climbing.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate equipment up to a height of 40 feet and certification to operate fork trucks and other powered mobile equipment as needed.
