About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk ensures materials, packaging materials, and ingredients are assigned to the correct locations and properly identified. The role maintains accurate inventory counts, reconciles physical inventory against database records, investigates misplaced inventory, and helps manage the movement of materials between the production floor and warehouse. The clerk also keeps equipment and materials rooms clean and organized and performs other relevant duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials, packaging materials, and ingredients are in their assigned locations and properly identified.
• Reconcile physical inventory counts against inventory records in the database and correct discrepancies.
• Keep equipment and materials rooms clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate material counts.
• Research misplaced inventory.
• Assist with issuing and returning materials, packaging materials, and ingredients between the production floor and warehouse.
• Perform other relevant duties.
