About The Position
Health assessment of individuals in simulation environments and selected health care settings. Selection, implementation, and evaluation of individualized health promotion interventions across the lifespan. Number of students per group can vary from 6 to 8.
Requirements
- B.Sc.N.
- Recent experience in basic nursing care.
- Current registration as RN or NP in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Work experience on their units in order to work as a Clinical Instructor (required by certain clinical partners).
- Good standing with the site where clinical teaching is to occur.
- Mandatory legislated training.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated conflict resolution, oral/written communication skills.
- Previous experience as a clinical instructor preferred.
Responsibilities
- Developing learning contracts.
- Participation at team meetings is mandatory.
