About The Position

Soins infirmiers durant la période périnatale dans différents milieux : hôpital, santé publique, organismes communautaires, domicile ou environnements simulés. Le nombre d'étudiants par groupe peut varier de 6 à 8. Expérience dans l’élaboration de contrats d’apprentissage. Aptitude démontrée à la résolution de conflits et compétences en communication orale et écrite.

Requirements

• B.Sc.Inf. (or equivalent level of education/experience).
• Recent experience in perinatal care.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Must be in good standing with the clinical site where teaching will occur.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
• Must not teach the same course in the same semester where coordination is performed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a clinical instructor.
• Experience in developing learning contracts.
• Demonstrated aptitude for conflict resolution.
• Oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in various perinatal care settings including hospital, public health, community organizations, home care, or simulated environments.
• Develop learning contracts for students.
• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills.
• Utilize oral and written communication skills.
• Participate in team meetings (dates to be determined).
• Complete online student evaluations.
