About The Position

Nursing practice in complex care situations with individuals, groups, and/or communities. Nursing management of complex health, family, community or social issues in community, primary or tertiary care settings. Number of students per group can vary from 6 to 8.

Requirements

  • B.Sc.N.
  • Recent experience in complex nursing care.
  • Current registration as RN or NP in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Certain clinical partners require work experience on their units in order to work as a Clinical Instructor.
  • As a condition of employment at UOttawa, the chosen candidate must be in good standing with the site where clinical teaching is to occur.
  • Clinical course to be given either in person, on-line or a combination.
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution, oral/written communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have recent experience in complex care nursing.

Responsibilities
