About The Position

Care of individuals with mental health issues. Application of therapeutic interaction, relationship skills, family assessment and support in simulation environments and health care settings. Number of students per group can vary from 6 to 8.

Requirements

  • B.Sc.N. with recent experience in mental health nursing.
  • Current registration as RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution, oral/written communication skills.
  • As a condition of employment at UOttawa, the chosen candidate must be in good standing with the site where clinical teaching is to occur.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a clinical instructor preferred.
