A course of general interest focused on human migration and settlement, long-distance commercial and political connections, cultural exchanges, intellectual linkages, and social upheaval and conflict emerging in the modern world. This posting is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors. The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025) and does not include vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. The course is scheduled for Mondays from 11:30 to 13:00 and Thursdays from 13:00 to 14:30. The mode of delivery is in person.
