About The Position
This course offers intensive practice in academic essay writing, with a strong emphasis on grammatical accuracy, well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises to develop their composition skills. The use of Writing Centre resources is required outside of regular class hours.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience
- Competence in second language: N/A
- Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Responsibilities
- Teach Workshop in Essay Writing (ENG1100 EJ00)
- Provide intensive practice in academic essay writing
