About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1100 DC00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the Fall 2026 semester at the Main Campus. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, emphasizing grammatical correctness, well-reasoned expository writing, essay organization, preparation of research papers, and proper acknowledgment of sources. Students will engage in frequent written exercises and develop composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources outside regular class hours is required. Requirements

Ph.D (English)
Research expertise and publications in this area strongly preferred.
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Competence in second language: N/A
Employees are under provincial law required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
