About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1100 CL00, Workshop in Essay Writing, during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on intensive practice in academic essay writing, including grammar, expository writing, essay organization, research paper preparation, and proper acknowledgment of sources. It involves frequent written exercises and the development of composition skills. Use of Writing Centre resources outside regular class hours is required. The course is an ONLINE COURSE and the schedule is subject to change.
Requirements
- Ph.D (English)
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- Apply using your worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.
