About The Position

Interventional Radiology Tech focusing on Cardiac and Vascular imaging is available for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. This is a temporary travel role with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The assignment is for a 13-week engagement with a start date of 09/14/2026. The work will be in an acute care setting performing a mix of diagnostic and active interventional cardiovascular procedures, using a range of advanced imaging equipment.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in cardiac and vascular radiography and interventional procedures.
Ability to operate interventional imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality digital images.
Strong patient positioning, instruction, and interpersonal communication skills.
Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiovascular imaging lab and collaborate with physicians and team members.
Willingness to participate in teaching, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
Compliance with site credentialing and licensure requirements as applicable to a radiologic professional in the region.

Responsibilities

Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
Operate digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment to produce high-quality images as ordered by physicians.
Position and instruct patients for examinations; prepare for specialized studies and monitor during procedures.
Maintain patient safety and comfort, apply sterile technique, and uphold radiation safety standards throughout imaging and interventions.
Provide clinical care with a high level of technical and organizational skill, using critical thinking to support effective workflow.
Model and mentor staff on technical skills; contribute input into hiring and promotion decisions as appropriate.
