Requirements

Experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in a cardiovascular lab is preferred.
Ability to operate a range of radiographic and interventional imaging equipment and digital imaging systems.
Strong patient positioning, instruction, and procedural skills with attention to safety and quality.
Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical judgment, and effective communication within a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to mentor staff and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.
Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.
Properly position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies as needed.
Deliver clinical care efficiently with strong technical and organizational skills and sound critical thinking.
Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
