About The Position

Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add an Interventional Cardiologist to our clinic in East Sacramento affiliated with Mercy General Hospital. This role involves performing various cardiac and vascular procedures and joining a well-established team of cardiologists and support staff. The position is within a large, growing organization dedicated to exceptional medical care and is part of CommonSpirit Health®, a major health system.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified in Internal Medicine
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (ABMS or AOA)
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification
• California Fluoro license
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform Coronary Angiograms
• Perform stenting
• Perform peripheral vascular intervention
• Perform shock wave procedures
• Perform laser procedures
• Perform atherectomies
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
