About The Position

Hunkemöller is offering an internship in Global Internal Communications & Events as part of its Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) program. The intern will create visual and written content for internal communication channels, support the rollout of marketing campaigns and global sales communications, organise events and activations for internal audiences, and contribute to digital employee engagement initiatives. The internship is described as a five-month placement, with availability for 40 hours per week and enrollment at a school or university for its full duration required. The posting contains conflicting start dates: it first specifies September 2026, while later text refers to a BIIR program starting in February 2027. The program includes learning opportunities, personal coaching from an assigned buddy, and an empowering, playful, and inclusive work environment. For 40-hour internships, working from home is permitted up to two days per week depending on the role, though arrangements may vary during onboarding. The internship allowance is €450 gross per month, with at least eight holiday days based on a 40-hour week. Travel support may be up to €23 per day for those not eligible for a free Student OV Chipcard. Additional offerings include a 25% staff discount, a company laptop, and company gatherings such as Townhalls and drinks. Applicants must meet one of the stated Dutch-law eligibility routes: EU citizenship, a Family/Partner visa, or qualifying non-EU student status in the Netherlands with a mandatory curricular internship or a university willing to sign a Nuffic Agreement. Applicants are told that completing a gamified personality assessment after receiving its link is essential to continuing in the selection process. Hunkemöller describes its 'Together Tomorrow' initiative as focused on sustainability, diversity, and ethical practices.
