About the position

Rise Interactive is seeking an Internet Marketing Consultant for their SEO team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess superior organizational and time management skills. The consultant will be responsible for executing various search engine optimization activities, including keyword research and strategy development, technical site audits, and organic performance analysis. The job requires 1-2 years of SEO-specific experience, fluency in English communication skills, and familiarity with AP Style.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing multiple datasets to perform keyword research, strategy, and on-page content optimizations
  • Identifying trends in keyword topics to help influence content recommendations, social media syndication, and information architecture
  • Analyzing and auditing site structure and CMS for technical issues such as indexation and error handling, page speed, and duplicate content
  • Performing internal link analysis and make recommendations around internal link structure and page authority
  • Utilizing strong analytical skills to extract insights from traffic/ranking data and provide well developed quantitatively based recommendations to accomplish client goals and objectives

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of SEO-specific experience, additional digital marketing experience is a plus
  • Fluency with English communication skills is required along with excellent presentation skills. Familiarity with AP Style preferred
  • Background in business, engineering, and/or sciences strongly preferred
  • Experience with analyzing data is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity w/ Excel, VBA is a plus
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
