About the position
As a DevOps Engineer at Rise, you will be responsible for owning the infrastructure hosting the company's industry-leading media optimization platform. You will collaborate closely with product development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide innovative solutions to infrastructure challenges. The role emphasizes the principles of DevOps, with a focus on automation and efficiency. Familiarity with cloud computing, networking concepts, operating system administration, security management, and configuration practices is expected. The ideal candidate will also have experience with automation, CI/CD, schedulers, workflow tools, and infrastructure-as-code implementation. Responsibilities
- Own the infrastructure hosting the product
- Understand and address infrastructure needs of product development teams
- Provide ideas and solutions to infrastructure challenges
- Automate tasks and processes as much as possible
- Implement IAC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls, load-balancers)
- Experience in operating system administration (Windows Server/Linux)
- Manage security updates and patches
- Implement configuration management practices and tools
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure
- Familiarity with relational and nonrelational databases
- Experience in automation
- Knowledge of SDLC best practices
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
- Familiarity with schedulers (Jenkins/Teamcity)
- Knowledge of workflow tools (Airflow/Azkaban)
