About The Position

The International Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing the Boise International Logistics Service process for Key Accounts and following policies and procedures to provide an optimal level of customer service. The role supports customers by coordinating inbound and outbound cargo, resolving logistical challenges, and providing product and service information. It also supports the daily tactical processes that ensure the smooth movement of high-value cargo to and from North America and coordinates international bookings for containerized freight. The position follows a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two days remote each week. The role is based in Boise, Idaho. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily tactical processes to ensure the smooth movement of high-value cargo to and from North America.
Assist with customer inquiries and concerns.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cargo-movement challenges, including customs, logistical, and technical challenges.
Document and update customer records based on interactions.
Develop and maintain knowledge of evolving products and services.
Create and coordinate international bookings for containerized freight.
Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo and provide customers with product and service information.
