About The Position

The International Logistics Specialist is responsible for successfully executing the Boise International Logistics Service process for ONE customer accounts. The role follows company policies and procedures to provide an optimal level of customer service by coordinating inbound and outbound cargo, resolving logistical challenges, and providing product and service information. The position supports the daily movement of high-value cargo to and from North America and creates and coordinates international bookings for containerized freight. The position is based in Boise, Idaho, and follows a hybrid work-from-home and office schedule, with employees working three days in the office and two days remotely each week. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily tactical processes that ensure smooth movement of high-value cargo to and from North America.
Assist customers with inquiries and concerns.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cargo-movement challenges, including customs, logistical, and technical challenges.
Document and update customer records based on interactions.
Develop and maintain knowledge of evolving products and services.
Create and coordinate international bookings for containerized freight.
Follow policies and procedures to provide an optimal level of customer service.
