International Logistics Specialist- Documentation
About The Position
The International Logistics Specialist is responsible for successfully executing the Boise Export Documentation process while following company policies and procedures to provide an optimal level of customer service. The role addresses customer needs related to bills of lading and resolves problems internally and with the offshore team. The position follows a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote each week. Employees may need to work flexible hours or shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays, according to business needs. The salary range is $50,000 to $56,000, commensurate with experience. The role reports directly to the Supervisor, Export Documentation.
Requirements
- 0 to 2+ years of function-related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to evaluate data, analyze issues, and solve problems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- High motivation and a strong orientation toward achievement.
- Ability to apply knowledge, procedures, and sound judgment in daily decision-making.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to provide accurate, efficient, effective service to internal and external customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays, according to business need.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails each day.
- Maintain and organize specialized functions, coordinating with the offshore team to complete work.
- Evaluate whether issues need to be escalated.
- Address customer needs related to bills of lading and resolve problems internally and with the offshore team.
- Follow policies and procedures in executing the Boise Export Documentation process.
