About The Position

We are seeking an experienced International Freight & Logistics Sales Manager to develop and grow profitable business across air freight, ocean freight, U.S. and Mexico cross-border freight, and ground transportation. This position is responsible for new business development, strategic sales planning, customer relationship management, and revenue and gross-profit growth. The ideal candidate is a proven logistics sales professional who can identify customer supply-chain needs and develop effective multimodal transportation solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply-chain sales.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop profitable customer accounts.
Working knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border transportation.
Strong understanding of transportation pricing, margins, and customer negotiations.
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience using CRM or sales-pipeline management systems.
Ability to work independently and remain accountable for sales results.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. passport and be eligible for international business travel.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Prospect, develop, and secure new customers.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for targeted markets and accounts.
Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.
Sell domestic and international air freight, FCL/LCL ocean freight, U.S. and Mexico cross-border, truckload, LTL, expedited, and related logistics services.
Develop customized Air+ Ocean +Cross-Border+ Ground transportation solutions.
Prepare proposals, presentations, bids, and RFP responses.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
Meet or exceed revenue, gross-profit, and new-business targets.
Develop strong relationships with transportation, supply-chain, purchasing, and operations decision-makers.
Expand existing accounts through additional transportation services.
Work closely with operations, pricing, finance, customer service, customs partners, and leadership.
Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, and sales forecast information.
