About The Position

Hicks Automotive Group is seeking an Internal/Recon Service Advisor to oversee internal repair orders and the dealership’s reconditioning process. The role coordinates repair work, technicians, parts, tools, vendors, and vehicle detailing while providing responsive support for owner inquiries. The advisor maintains reconditioning records, works with Service and Sales management, and helps ensure a positive customer experience while reinforcing company policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities

Oversee internal repair orders and complete the reconditioning process in a timely manner according to management’s expectations.
Take ownership of the reconditioning experience and perform additional assignments that help the dealership leave a positive impression with customers.
Provide concierge support for owner inquiries by phone or in person and help ensure customers are handled appropriately.
Ensure technicians’ daily available time is consistently sold to service customers.
Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Maintain the reconditioning spreadsheet and conduct a daily meeting with Service and Sales management.
Track ordered parts and tools as necessary.
Oversee work subcontracted to vendors and ensure invoices are correct and attached to repair orders through the Purchase Order process.
Dispatch vehicle details to the car wash or detailer.
Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain a good working relationship with the factory or factories and foster positive employee relations.
