About The Position

Hicks Automotive Group is seeking an Internal/Recon Service Advisor to oversee internal repair orders and manage the vehicle reconditioning process in a timely manner. The role supports a positive customer experience by responding to owner inquiries and coordinating repair, technician, parts, vendor, and detailing workflows. The advisor works with Service and Sales management, maintains reconditioning records, and reinforces company policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities

Oversee internal repair orders and complete the reconditioning process in a timely manner as directed by management.
Take ownership of the reconditioning experience and carry out additional assignments that help the dealership leave a positive impression with customers.
Provide concierge support for owner inquiries by phone or in person and help ensure customers are handled appropriately.
Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers.
Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Maintain the reconditioning spreadsheet and conduct a daily meeting with Service and Sales management.
Track ordered parts and tools as necessary.
Oversee work subcontracted to vendors.
Ensure invoices are correct and attached to repair orders through the Purchase Order process.
Dispatch detailing assignments to the car wash or detailer.
Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain good working relationships with the factory or factories and foster positive employee relations.
