Internal Service Advisor - Mercedes-Benz
About The Position
The Rallye Motor Company is hiring an Internal Service Advisor for Rallye Mercedes-Benz. This role helps influence service business volume and supports a seamless, personalized automotive experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, motivated, and interested in a long-term position with the dealership. The advisor manages internal repair orders and coordinates inspections, required services, repairs, quality checks, and vehicle preparation so vehicles are ready for delivery on schedule. The position works closely with sales, technicians, parts, inventory staff, and outside vendors, while maintaining records in accordance with Mercedes-Benz factory and warranty requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of automotive retail center computer systems, or ability to be trained.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
- Professional personal appearance.
Nice To Haves
- German car brand or Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor experience is preferred.
- Experience with the CDK computer system is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage internal repair orders for incoming Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Ensure pre-delivery inspections, manufacturer-required services, and recalls are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate with the sales team to meet expected delivery timelines for sold vehicles.
- Communicate with technicians and the parts department to ensure parts availability and timely completion of service tasks.
- Verify that vehicle systems, software, and accessories are functioning correctly before delivery.
- Maintain detailed documentation and records for compliance with Mercedes-Benz factory guidelines and warranty requirements.
- Schedule vehicle transport to detail and accessory installation vendors when needed.
- Conduct final quality control checks on vehicles prior to delivery.
- Support inventory lot management by ensuring Used/CPO units are fueled, cleaned, and moved to the front line, showroom, or loaner service.
