About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting approximately 2–3 facilities and treating about 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays, with a stated Monday–Friday schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least 3 days per week. There are no nights, call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
