About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with full-time physicians working 4–5 days per week and part-time physicians working at least 3 days per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. The position is a W2 employment contract; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
