About The Position

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Manager, Internal Communications to lead communications for key product and operations functions and ongoing transformation efforts. The role serves as a strategic communications partner, helping leaders translate business priorities and operational initiatives into clear, compelling communications that inform, engage, and inspire employees. The successful candidate is a strategist, storyteller, and advisor who can navigate complex topics, build trusted relationships with senior leaders, and develop communications that drive understanding, alignment, and action across a global workforce.

Success is measured by the ability to turn business priorities into communications that build understanding, strengthen alignment, and motivate action. The role helps employees connect company strategy, product innovation, and operational excellence with their own part in delivering results.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee communications, or related fields.
• Experience supporting senior executives, enterprise functions, or large-scale business initiatives.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to understand complex topics.
• Experience developing strategic communication plans and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated internal communications strategies that support business priorities.
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders.
• Partner with leaders to communicate functional strategy, organizational changes, transformation initiatives, and operational priorities.
• Develop messaging, communication plans, leader talking points, presentations, FAQs, employee content, and executive communications.
• Translate complex product and operational topics into clear, engaging employee communications.
• Support company-wide initiatives, major launches, business updates, and change programs.
• Collaborate with teams including HR and Marketing to ensure alignment and consistency.
• Measure communication effectiveness and use insights to improve messaging, channels, and engagement.
