About The Position

Santander is seeking a dynamic, energetic intern eager to learn about the company by assisting its commercial area. The role focuses on learning how the organization operates through on-the-job training in areas related to the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms. The intern will support current projects and regional initiatives, as well as bankers and the team with administrative functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and work autonomously as appropriate.
• Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Dedication to the team's success.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive on-the-job training in areas related to the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms.
• Support projects involving Appian Credit, Appian Updates, W8s Appian, DocuSign and POs, and Cornercards.
• Complete assignments for specific initiatives in the region.
• Support bankers and the team with other administrative functions.
