About The Position

Santander is seeking a dynamic, energetic intern to learn about the company while supporting its commercial area. The intern will receive on-the-job training in different parts of the client life cycle, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms. The role also supports regional initiatives and projects, and provides administrative assistance to bankers and the team.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. The position requires frequent minimal physical effort, such as sitting, standing, and walking. Depending on the location, occasional moving and lifting of light equipment or furniture may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and work autonomously as appropriate.
• Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Dedication to the team's success.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive on-the-job training in client life-cycle areas, including internal events, onboarding, banking operations and documentation, updates, credit operations, and investment platforms.
• Support projects involving Appian Credit, Appian Updates, W8s Appian, DocuSign and POs, and Cornercards.
• Support assignments for specific regional initiatives.
• Support bankers and the team with other administrative functions.
